Terms & Policies

Reservation of Services - All reservations must be confirmed via email. Therefore, any reservation by phone is subject to confirmation if it is not supported by email.

 

Payment Policies - According to our payment policies, it must be done as follows:

- 50% of the total amount must be received at least 30 calendar days before services.

- 50% final payment be received 15 days prior to the service date.

 

Cancellations / No-Shows / Delays / Changes - We will not refund any money for unused services, last-minute cancellations, or no-shows. In this case, the reservation incurs 100% cancellation penalties. Delays caused by late arrival of the passenger and/or by wrong information might be charged as per hourly rate. If no contact is made after 1.5 hours from flight arrival time CR Limo & Travel Company holds the right to abandon the trip without refund. Cancellations made less than 15 days before the date of the service will be charged in full. All those cancellations where CR Limo & Travel Company has contracted transportation or service to third parties will be charged 100% of the quoted amount. All requests for modification or cancellation of services must be made via email and confirmed by our sales department.

 

Out-of Area Vehicle Service Policy - The contractor of out-of-area services must bear the costs of food and lodging for the CR Limo & Travel Company driver.

 

Transportation Disclaimer - Exact drop off is dependent on road access. CR Limo is not responsible for inaccessible or unreachable destinations. Client is responsible for sending CR Limo & Travel Company the exact location at time of booking. Driver will drop off passengers to the nearest and safest location to the original drop-off destination.

 

Emergency Transfers - CR Limo & Travel Company will not transfer sick people in its units. Costa Rican law only authorizes the Costa Rican Red Cross to carry out these maneuvers with passengers affected by

health.

 

No to the promotion of Sexual Tourism in Costa Rica, Code of Conduct for the NO commercial

exploitation of children and adolescents. Our commitment is to protect children and adolescents and

not to promote Sexual Tourism in Costa Rica, therefore, in all our services we reaffirm to all our clients

our commitment to the country and its citizens. CR Limo & Travel Company is a socially responsible company.

 

Commitment to the environment - Our commitment is to preserve the resources that have made it

possible for Costa Rica to be where we are today. We reaffirm our commitment to the natural resources

of Costa Rica, to its local communities, and to our valued Human Resource.

 

Rates include:

•     Full comprehensive insurance for all passengers

•     250KM per day maximum

•     IVA (13% Sales Tax)

•     Fuel/Petrol/Gasoline

•     Quick Pass / Highway tolls

•     WiFi and Air-conditioner

•     Refreshments: bottled water and mints/salty snacks

•     Vehicle maintenance: washing, cleaning, etc.

•     Chauffeur/Driver

•     Daytime rates 8h00 to 21h00 (8am to 9pm)

•     Waiting Time: Airport Transfer duration: 1.5 hours

 

Rates do not include:

•     Waiting time beyond the standard transfer time will be charged as a per hourly rate.

•     Night surcharges between 22h00 to 8h00 (10pm to 8am).

•     Chauffeur meal: $20 per meal (number of meals determined by the number of hours required)

•     Chauffeurs overnight accommodation: $100 per night (meal not included)

•     Out-of-area surcharges (outside of Guanacaste Province).

•     Excess KM, foreign taxes, etc…

 

Additional Information

•     Any complaints must be addressed within 24-hours.

•     Rates and conditions are subject to change without notice.

•     Daily rates are charged up to 8 hours, anything after, additional charges apply.

•     Chauffeurs meal required on a 10-hour work day (maximum of 2 meals)

•     Chauffeurs meal required on a 10-15-hour work day (maximum of 3 meals)

•     Additional hours: $110 per hour/per vehicle.

•     Additional kilometers: $3 per kilometer (IVA not included)

•     Night rate charges: +50% of hourly rate charged between 22h00 – 8h00.

 

Payment

•     All payments are to be paid for prior to service, unless other arrangement have been made with management.

•     Total amount must be received at least 30 calendar days before services.

•     Payment methods accepted: Venmo, Zelle, Paypal (4.5% to be added to total), or Bank Transfer.

 

Other - CR Limo & Travel Company shall not be liable for circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to weather, road conditions and breakdowns. CR LIMO & TRAVEL COMPANY assumes no responsibility for lost or damaged baggage, personal belongings or any items left in the vehicle. CR LIMO & TRAVEL COMPANY DO NOT provide refunds. All reservations are final and incur 100% cancellation penalties. If the payment has not been received 24 hours prior to the booking/reservation, we will not be able to provide you our transportation service unless agreed in writing. We do not receive third party payments, nor do we make payment to a third party. Any complaints must be made within 24 hours of the transportation service. CR LIMO & TRAVEL COMPANY RESERVES THE RIGHTS TO CHANGE ITS TERMS AND CONDITIONS AT ANY TIME WITHOUT GIVING PRIOR NOTICE. ANY TERMS AND CONDITIONS NOT INCLUDED ON THE PAGE ARE SUBJECT TO THE SOLE DISCRETION OF CR LIMO & TRAVEL COMPANY. NO UNAUTHORIZED USE OF THIS CONTENT IS ALLOWED WITHOUT WRITTEN CONSENT FROM CR LIMO & TRAVEL COMPANY.
